Beaufort Boat Tours started in 2016 with the purchase of "Southern Hospitality" a retired and restored 26' US Navy Whaleboat.
"Southern Hospitality" operates as Charter Boat under USCG Regulations and can carry up to six passengers, in addition to her Captain and Crew.
The vessel has all required USCG equipment and is maintained in excellent condition. Due to the nature of her design she is very safe and stable to enhance your enjoyment!
Captain Hal Snyder, USCG 100 Ton Master's Certificate, provides you with years of local knowledge and water man experience. Captain Hal served on a competitor's vessel for a couple of years and enjoyed giving boat tours so much he decided to open his own ! Captain Hal also has Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training, Private Pilot's Certificate, and SCUBA Certificate.
